The innovation capability of obz innovation gmbh is not limited to the cold spraying technology that was introduced into the company in 2002 (a world first for a job-shop coater). Obz innovation gmbh is also a trend-setter in other areas: as a service provider we led the introduction of three-cathode plasma spraying technology TriplexPro-200.

This technology allowed us to achieve a higher rate of spray deposition, a higher deposition efficiency and advances in achievable coating structure.

Other important milestones include numerous development projects realised by us, in cooperation with universities and institutes. They were developed for different industrial sectors, including the automobile-, textile-, pump- and consumer electronics industries. Essential to advanced development work is the capability for in house analysis. obz innovation gmbh has had its own laboratory since 2000, and is capable of testing all relevant coating criteria - even the shear load resistance (DIN EN 15.340).
